QB allows R2 to pass then hands the ball to R1. After the handoff, the QB raises up in a passing stance & pump-fakes a downfield pass.
R1 follows R2 through the B GAP looking for an opportunity to break loose.
R2 blocks defenders in the B GAP clearing a path for R1.
W1 blocks inside defenders on the second or third level to help open up the running lane for R1.

R1 makes a counter move to the backside & then follows R2 through the playside B GAP looking for an opportunity to break loose.
R2 makes a counter move to the backside then blocks defenders in the playside B GAP clearing a path for R1.
W1 blocks inside defenders on the second or third level to help open up the running lane for R1.

RUN PLAY
QB rotates from the backside to the play side to execute the toss to R1. After the toss, the QB rises up & pump fakes a pass.
At the snap, R1 makes a move towards the flat while presenting a good target to the QB. His first job is to catch the toss, then try to get to the edge, outside of his blockers for a big gain.
R2 blocks second level defenders outside of the T in the D GAP to help set the edge for R1.
W1 will block the defender on the outside, pushing the defender to the inside to help set the edge.
Pass Option
QB rotates from the backside to the play side to execute a FAKE TOSS to R1. After the fake toss, the QB rises up and passes to the T on the 10 yard dig route.

QB fakes a toss to R1 then follows R1 & R2 as they block defenders clearing the running lane.
R1 will block defenders outside of the W's to help clear the running lane for the QB.
R2 blocks defenders down the field to clear the running lane for the QB.
W1 sets the edge by blocking the inside defenders at the snap.
W2 sets the edge by blocking inside defenders at the snap.

QB turns & hands the ball to W2. After the handoff, the QB stands in the pocket & pump-fakes a pass downfield.
W2 runs a reverse route using speed while taking the handoff & running up the field on the outside.
R1 will block any defenders in the flats on the backside.
W1 blocks defenders inside as if to be setting the edge for a run play.
Option Pass PLAY
QB turns & fakes the handoff to W2. After the fake handoff, the QB stands in the pocket & throws downfield to R2.
R2 runs a wheel route up the field & is ready to receive the option pass on every play.

On this play, the pulling G needs to be athletic & fast to not disrupt W2's route.

QB rotates from the backside to the playside to execute the toss to R1. After the toss, the QB bootlegs to the backside while rising up in a passing stance.
