QB fakes handoff to R2 then hands ball to R1. After the handoff, the QB raises up in a passing stance & pump-fakes a downfield pass.
R1 follows the blockers through the A GAP looking for an opportunity to break loose into the open field.
W1 delays running route until R2 reaches the QB. W1 solo fakes receiving a handoff once behind the center.
Both W1 & R2 block defenders in the D GAPS after their fakes.
Offensive Line
It is critical for the C to lead a strong attack down the field & to stay on his feet.
At the snap, the C should hit his assigned A GAP and the rest of the O-line should file in behind the C creating a single unit marching up the field. The O-line should have an upright athletic position pushing up the field.

QB allows G to pass then hands ball to R1. After the handoff, the QB remains in the handoff position with his back to the defenders.
R1 should patiently follow the blockers through the D GAP looking to break loose on the outside
R2 runs in front of W1 & blocks outside of the pulling G taking on defenders in the D GAP
W1 delays running route until R2 runs in front of W1's position. W1 should leak to the flats on the backside ready to catch an option pass.

On this play, the pulling G needs to be athletic & fast to not disrupt the rhythm of the other runners in the backfield. He should use his momentum to overpower defenders in the D GAP.

QB allows the G to pass then hands ball to R1. After the handoff, the QB rolls out to the backside & fakes a pass to W1.
R1 does the counter move by making his first move to the backside only to cut back to the playside to take the handoff from the QB.
Option PLAY
QB allows the G to pass then fakes handoff to R1. After the fake handoff, the QB rolls out to the backside & passes to W1.
R2 blocks outside of the pulling G taking on defenders in the D GAP pushing them inside
W1 runs a 5 yard Post Corner route & should always be ready to recieve the option pass.

W1 will sweep behind the line to receive the handoff from the QB. He should look break loose on the outside.
R2 blocks defenders in D GAP pushing them inside.

R1 delays and allows the guard to pass before taking the handoff. He runs through the B GAP in between blockers looking to break loose to the open field.

QB fakes handoff to R1. After the fake handoff, the QB rolls out to the backside & passes to W1.
R2 blocks defenders in the D GAP pushing them outside.
W1 runs a 10 yard dig route looking to receive the option pass.

On this play, the pulling G needs to be athletic & fast to not disrupt the rhythm of the other runners in the backfield. The G has the opportunity to obtain great leverage over defenders in the backfield because of the "TRAP" blocking scheme.

QB should reverse out and toss the ball to R1. The QB should boot out to the backside every play to setup a QB run or Pass.
R1 makes a quick lateral move to recieve the toss and then attacks vertically up the field.
Option PLAY
QB fakes the toss to R1 then boots out the backside to pass to either W1 or T2
R2 blocks defenders in the D GAP pushing them outside.
W1 runs a 5 yard Post route looking to receive the option pass.
T2 runs a 2 Yard Smash route looking to receive the option pass.

The O-line should seal of the outside edge on the playside.
